| Aileen Comora I have been involved in the sale of real estate in Los Angeles approaching 20 years. I grew up in Los Angeles and attended U.C.L.A – at first with the intention of a career in the performing arts. A fascination with science and genetics resulted in my obtaining a Bachelor of Science in microbiology. My detour into real estate was the result of a love of architecture and people. I have observed all areas of the City evolve. The areas that I have been most active in both listing properties for sale and lease and representing buyers and potential lessees in finding properties are: The Hollywood Hill, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, the Beverly Hills Post Office, Hancock Park, Los Feliz, Sherman Oaks and Malibu (and once in Pioneertown!) I first began as an agent with Alvarez Hyland, & Young, a small office that specialized in Beverly Hills. Architecture has always been fascinating to me and for many years I worked with the firm Mossler, Deasy & Doe. Starting out in any career is difficult – but I was told that representing clients for Real Estate was going to be hard work. I love the hard work and challenge and the opportunity to constantly meet new people and to find the “right” house for a client. I represent and have represented clients in the entertainment industry (in the “spotlight” and behind it) and in other fields. I find great enjoyment in representing clients in their first home purchase – I probably would have been a great teacher! Making sure a client understands the process of selling a home and especially making sure they love the home they are buying. I take time with clients and do not rush the decision making process – the purchase of property is the most important use of money – a home is where a family is raised, where holidays are spent and, of course, where you live. Always realizing that regardless of the amount of money my client’s can spend and the value of a home as an investment, obtaining the optimum price for a client’s home is always on my mind – whether it’s a sale or a purchase. It is for this reason that I take time with all of my clients to ensure that either their purchase or their sale of a home is the right thing to do. And it is for this reason that most of my clients come to me by referral. I do not “market” myself or my clients! I strongly protect their privacy and confidentiality. My clients work with me because I take care of them and because I work hard for them. I always remember that I am in a service business. I am at your service. |
